What would you say if we told you that flossing could be easy? Would you think we were crazy? Well, with the proper technique, flossing can be a quick and effective way to improve your oral health and hygiene.

Here are some tips you can follow while flossing:

Take around one-and-a-half feet of floss out, and wrap the majority of that floss around one of the fingers on your dominant hand, then wind the remainder around the same finger on the opposite hand.

With the floss pulled taut, lightly rub it between your teeth and toward your gums.

Once the floss has reached your gums, pull it tight against the tooth and move it up and down.

With new, clean sections of floss, move to the next tooth and repeat this process for each tooth.

With just these simple steps, you can improve your flossing greatly. By doing these things, your mouth will be cleaner, your breath friendlier, and your loved ones happier (mostly because of the friendlier breath part)!
